The christmas is just around the corner so why not try a healthy alternative to holiday sweets. Here´s a delicious recipe for protein brownies that is guaranteed to pleace.
1 cup Isopure Natural Chocolate whey Protein powder
1 cup Pitted cherries, chopped
1/2 cup Unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup Non-fat Greek yogurt
2 tbsp Cocoa powder
2 tbsp Date sugar
Preheat oven to 325F (160celsius), Line a 7" (18cm) square (or similarly sized) pan with parchment paper (if not using silicone). Mix applesauce and Greek yogurt. Add whey protein, cocoa and date sugar. Mix well. Fold in cherries. Pour batter into pan, and bake for about 30 minutes. A toothpick inserted won´t be completely clean, but the brownies should be cooked well enough. If in doubt, underbake! The brownies will be too dryif you overbake them.
